BURST
The yard hides five buried things — and only one is the leaking main. Fire your ground probe (F or right-click): it reports the distance and depth of the nearest object and draws a ring on the lawn. Probe from several spots and look where rings cross. Dig there — soil slides, so deep holes must be wide. Old tanks and lines are decoys. Rings fade after a few seconds. Only when you're deep in a hole right next to the leak will you hear a faint hiss.
